About Gabriella
Gabriella Kovac was born and raised in Hungary just after the events of World War 2. Learning about her Jewish family’s survival through the Holocaust, and living herself through the Hungarian uprising against the communist regime that followed, gave Gabriella a keen understanding of human hardship, as well as our incredible capacity for bravery, selflessness, and success.
This is a message which Gabriella has spent years sharing, through her written and public speaking works. She hopes to spread this knowledge as far as possible, helping you become aware and in control of your complete human potential.
Author and Books
Through her efforts to share this message of hope and understanding, Gabriella has become a best-selling author, writing in genres ranging from non-fiction to historical fiction to children’s stories. Information about three of her uplifting and empowering books can be found below.
‘Georgina: Holocaust Memoirs’ – A Holocaust Survivor Story
While world events such as the Holocaust are forever captured in records and other forms of historical documentation, nothing brings the real stories of human hardship and survival to life like the ability to tell them through the eyes of a living relative.
“I am in a very rare situation to be able to do this and it is important for me to tell these stories to as many people as I can while I am still alive.”
From a young age, Gabriella Kovac was fascinated by her mother’s ability to successfully handle seemingly impossible situations. In 2013 she wrote her mother’s Holocaust survival story in the Amazon best seller, “Georgina: Holocaust Memoirs.”
Gabriella sees her book as one of a kind, because of her portrayal of Jewish people: not as helpless, but rather as a people capable of fighting for their freedom.
“There are very few books on the Holocaust that are both deeply personal and inspirational, with Jewish people outsmarting the Nazis and Communists and not being victims,” Gabriella added.
“While there are stories of great sadness and extraordinary loss, there are also stories of incredible bravery and success – and it is important that these positive messages are shared along with all the other information about the Holocaust and Holocaust survivors.”
